Where is the Burn Center located?
We are located in the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the West End are of Nashville, Tennessee. Click here for detailed directions or maps.

Does the Burn Center receive balloons and flowers for patients?
In most cases we do. But if the patient is in a condition which does not allow fresh flowers, we place them directly outside the room or give them to family. Only Mylar ballons may be brought in.

Where can I donate skin?
Skin donors are taken only from cadavers with a donor card. For more information, please call Tennessee Donor Services (615) 327-7747.

How can I check on a patients condition?
We are unable to give out details of a patients condition to anyone except family members. You will be referred to family.

How can I found out more about survivor groups in Middle Tennessee?
The Tennessee Burn Survivor Support Group meets the last Sunday of the month at 1:00 PM in the Burn Clinic on 11 South of the main hospital. If you are interested in attending or would like more information, contact Dan Ramage, L.C.S.W. at 615-936-0292.

What is the age range for Camp Hope - the burn camp for children?
Camp Hope is open to children ages 4 to 16. Click to learn more.

What kind of educational programs does the Burn Center provide?
The Burn Center can come to your school or nursing home and give lectures. For more information, please contact Billynda Taylor (615) 343-5239.

What services are available for victims who are children?
A Child-Life Specialist will be avilable for pediatric patients and children of adult patients.
